Terms & Conditions

Bachpan Phirse

1. General Agreement

By registering for, attending, or participating in any Bachpan Phirse event, the participant agrees to abide by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). These Terms apply to all attendees, whether booking individually or through a family/group registration.

Bachpan Phirse reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms at any time. Any updated version shall automatically apply to all current and future events.

2. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any dispute, claim, complaint, or legal proceeding arising out of or related to Bachpan Phirse, including participation, payments, conduct, or content, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

3. Eligibility & Participation

  • Bachpan Phirse events are primarily designed for individuals aged 45 years and above.
  • Certain events may allow children only as observers, where they are expected to sit, watch, and witness parents reliving childhood moments.
  • Unless explicitly stated for a specific event, children are not active participants.

By booking, participants confirm that:

  • They are physically and mentally fit to attend a non-strenuous experiential event
  • They are participating voluntarily and with full awareness of the nature of the experience

4. Nature of the Event (Important Clarification)

  • Bachpan Phirse is not a therapy session, not psychological counseling, and not a medical or mental health service.
  • It is an emotional, nostalgic, and experiential event designed to evoke feelings, memories, joy, and reflection.
  • Emotional responses such as laughter, silence, or tears are personal experiences and vary by individual.

Participants acknowledge that:

  • Any emotional response or memory triggered is personal
  • The organizer is not responsible for emotional outcomes or interpretations
  • Participation is based on personal choice after reviewing the concept and intent of the event

5. Participant Conduct & Behavior

All participants are expected to:

  • Maintain respectful behavior toward fellow participants, staff, and coordinators
  • Follow event instructions provided by the organizing team

Misconduct

If a participant:

  • Uses abusive or inappropriate language
  • Consumes alcohol or substances
  • Disrupts the event environment
  • Poses discomfort or risk to others

The organizing team will initially handle the situation patiently and respectfully, treating the individual as a guest. However:

  • Any serious misconduct, illegal activity, or uncontrollable behavior shall be handled strictly as per Indian law
  • Bachpan Phirse reserves the right to initiate legal action where required
  • All such matters shall fall under the jurisdiction of Jaipur courts

6. Health, Medical Disclosure & Emergencies

Participants agree that:

  • They shall carry their own personal medicines and medical essentials
  • Any existing medical condition must be disclosed at the time of booking

Medical Assistance

  • In case of a medical emergency, basic assistance may be provided
  • The founders of Bachpan Phirse are qualified doctors and will assist to the best of their ability
  • However, Bachpan Phirse is not liable for medical outcomes, complications, or expenses

Any hospital visits, ambulance services, or medical costs shall be solely borne by the participant or their family.

7. Payments, Booking & Refund Policy

Booking & Payments

  • Booking is confirmed only after successful payment
  • Seats are limited and allotted on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Payment confirmation is considered final proof of booking

Cancellation & Refunds

Once payment is made, it is non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for:

  • Late arrival
  • Missed activities
  • Early departure
  • No-shows

Natural Calamities & Force Majeure

In cases of:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Unavoidable external disruptions

The organizer may:

  • Reschedule the event
  • Offer a refund at its sole discretion
  • If an event cannot be attended due to personal reasons during such situations, no refund shall be guaranteed.

8. Late Arrival & Early Exit

Participants acknowledge that arriving late or leaving early is a personal choice. Missed experiences cannot be replayed, and no partial refunds or compensations will be provided under any circumstances.

9. Photography, Videography & Intellectual Property

  • All photos, videos, formats, activities, flow, and experience design are the exclusive intellectual property of Bachpan Phirse
  • Participants consent to being photographed or recorded during the event

Content Usage

  • All recordings made by participants during the event are considered part of Bachpan Phirse
  • Participants are not permitted to use event content for commercial, promotional, or misleading purposes
  • Any unauthorized usage may lead to legal action

10. Payments Fraud & Legal Action

  • Any fraudulent payment, false transaction, chargeback misuse, or misleading transfer will be reported
  • Bachpan Phirse reserves the right to coordinate with banks, government authorities, and law enforcement
  • Legal proceedings shall be initiated where required under Indian law

11. Communication & Testimonials

Participants consent to receive:

  • Event-related WhatsApp messages
  • Updates and announcements
  • Post-event communication
  • Requests for testimonials or feedback

Testimonials may be used for promotional purposes unless explicitly declined in writing.

12. Applicability to Future Events

These Terms apply automatically to all current and future Bachpan Phirse events. Minor event-specific changes may be communicated separately and shall form part of these Terms.

13. Final Acceptance

By making payment and attending the event, participants confirm that:

  • They have read and understood these Terms
  • They agree voluntarily
  • They accept full personal responsibility for participation
